Frank Gotch got some sad news today as he found out a nephew of his passed away suddenly in the night. Great Lakes sends their thoughts and prayers and will give Gotch the next card off and he will not be penalized for not defending his TV title.
Outside of the last event, Buddy Rogers was harassed by several fans about how he can only beat the champ by DQ and he can't seem to win the big one. Rogers made some snide remarks about atleast he has had the big one and if the fans needed proof they could ask their wifes and then he promptly left.
We know where all Masked Superstars money for his big wins is going as he caused a huge ruckus at the local bar. He broke a few things and was ordered to leave. Great Lakes picked up his $1000 tab and damage bill.

Card #2 Year 2 Gund Arena Cleveland Ohio
Great Lakes Tag Team Title Match: Hardcore: Team Extreme(c) vs. The Hennigs: A brutal opening bout between these 4 men and bloodshed all over the ring and the ringside floor. The Hennigs were looking to become Two Time Champions but it wasn't happening tonight as Sabu nailed a Triple Jump Moonsault on Larry Hennig and got the victory and the defense.
Don Muraco vs. Chris Candido: Don Muraco has proven his worth again in Great Lakes as he hits The Hawaiian Hammer for the victory.
#1 Contender for the Great Lakes TV Title: Masked Superstar W/Bobby Heenan vs. Missing Link: In a short match, Missing Link avoided Heenan and hit Two Back Flying Headbutts to put down Masked Superstar and get a shot at the TV title and a hated rival of his Frank Gotch.
The Armstrongs vs. The Valentines: The Valentines took their rough nosed approach to the technical Armstrongs and it payed off as Greg locked on the Figure Four for the huge victory.
Grudge Match: Konnan vs. Tiger Mask: In a Match of the Year Candidate, Tiger Mask and Konnan took it to one another Lucha Libre style. There were plenty of over the top rope moves. Tiger Mask and Konnan wanted the win bad in this one but Konnan locked in The Tequilla Sunrise one too many times and got the win over Tiger Mask.
Non-Title Grudge Rematch: Nick Bockwinkel W/Bobby Heenan vs. Buddy Rogers: Buddy Rogers just can't put Nick Bockwinkel away as Bobby Heenan had a bit of interference and Bockwinkel Cashed in winning with a Figure Four Leglock. It looks like Nick Bockwinkel is still keeping a lock on the Great Lakes Title.
