Great Lakes SPecial Report!
Ladies and Gentleman we were there when Jim Londos came out of jail and recovered his belongings. Jim Londos told our reporters that he still can't remember what happened that night. As Londos collected his belongings, there was a sealed note inside his pocket. Jim took it out and grew furious and outraged and threw it to the ground as he stormed out to his car to leave. Our camera caught the note on the ground.. they were divorce papers!!!! More on this when we get it folks!!!

Brad Armstrong was on a local radio station praising the Great Lakes Promotion.
Don Muraco held a press conference right after Londos got out of prison. Don Muraco called Londos a drunk and that his wife filing for divorce was a great thing for her. She needed to dump that loser. HE is a loser because Muraco beat him in their feud but when Londos gets back he will put him back in his place. Londos busted in the press conference carrying a Hawaiian Shirt asking Muraco why he found this at his house? Muraco tossed the podium on Londos and dodged out the back. Londos got up and followed him where Muraco got into a car with a blonde woman driving and got away as Londos was livid.
Buddy Rogers no showed an autograph session for the fans. Rogers called in stating that the fans weren't good enough to see him for free. Great Lakes fined him $1000 and told him that he would sit out Card #20

Jim Londos vs. The Missing Link: Jim Londos showed no ring rust in this one as he defeated The Missing Link with his Boston Crab. Both men shook hands after the match but DOn Muraco came out and told Londos that he would be needing his shirt back. It was his "lucky" shirt and if Londos didn't understand he should ask his wife. Londos darted to the back as Muraco left the arena and got into a car and drove off with Londos' wife yelling at Londos from the other side of the car. Londos looked enraged!
Frank Gotch vs. Chris Candido: Hardcore Match: In a blood intensive match Frank Gotch scored a win here with a Gotch Toe Hold after a huge Chair shot. After the match Gotch told Link this is what he would look like and Link came out and told him that he doesn't stand a chance against him and he ducked a wild right from Gotch and hit his Flying Back Headbutt sending Gotch to the floor. Afterwards he tried to help Candido up and told Candido to stay away from Gotch and this "Hardcore Crap". Candido looked offended and hit Link with a right hand and his Blonde Bombshell onto the steel chair in the ring. All three men lay out as Medical personal come out to help them.
Great Lakes Heavyweight Championship Match: Nick Bockwinkel (C) vs. Don Muraco: Don Muraco made it back to the arena for his match against Nick Bockwinkel. He should have just stayed gone as Bockwinkel put him away with the Bockwinkel sleeper quickly.
