In the Stampede title finals, Mongolian Stomper def. Stu Hart with a running stomp to win the Stampede title. I love old school action like Stampede. It takes things back to a simpler time in wrestling. Not all the "stuff" that clouds up so much of what we get today. The Mongolian Stomper taking the strap is awesome!

Stampede Press Release [/center] -After the melee at the last show between the Royal Kangaroos and the team of Billy White Cloud/Billy White Wolf, Stampede officials have signed a cage match between the two team with Ed Whalen as the special guest referee. On the line are the Royal Kangaroos' Brass Knuckles tag team titles. The Royal Kangaroos are reknowned for their toughness and defended those titles sparingly throughout the United States. Stampede management has signed a deal with the Kangaroos to sanction the Brass Knuckles tag titles as the official tag team championship of Stampede Wrestling. As the name implies, the bouts fought over the Brass Knuckles tag titles will have no rules. The current champions will have their choice of matches whenever the titles are defended.
