Hello and welcome to TCW World Class Wrestling........ i am your host for the evening Bill Mercer...... there has been many changes here in Texas... but the one thing that has not changed is the ACTION !!! and we at World Class Wrestling will continue to bring to you the fan...... all the action that you have come to expect..... and more....... so sit back and enjoy the show as it promises to bring on some dynamic changes to the new face of Texas Wrestling.......WORLD CLASS WRESTLING !!!
To get you up to speed ...... TCW ran in to some trouble.... but Bill Watts has stepped in and has take control of the ship...... some thing will be as it was.....others will change. NEW Face will come, some OLD faces will go...... some have already gone........ but wrestling in the great state of Texas lives on!!
We have 3 title matches for you tonight as the old TCW Titles for both the Tag Team and Heavyweight Championships will be on the line as well as a merging of old and new, as the former TCW Outlaw Title and Lone Star Title have become one new belt. The WCW TV Championship will be decided here tonight........ as will the future of some of the wrestlers........ but in true Cowboy Bill Watts style they will get a chance to fight it out for the contract.... we will
have a 1 night double elimination tourney for 2 contract spots here in WCW..... let me introduce to you the 6 men that will fight it out for the 2 open spots here in WCW........
Manny Fernandez....... Big Boss Man...... Dan Spivey........ Jimmy Garvin.......... Iceman King Parsons......... and Chris Benoit.

Welcome back....... lets get World Class Wrestling started........ our first match for a spot in WCW is heading to the ring.........
CHRIS BENOIT vs JIMMY GARVIN
Benoit dominates the match by beating Garvin out side the ring and then used his CRIPPLER CROSSFACE to get the win.
WINNER : Chris Benoit via CRIPPLER CROSSFACE
Benoit moves on and Garvin is 1 step closer to the door...... but Garvin will have one more chance to stay here in WCW...... lets get back to action as our second match is heading to ring side.........
BIG BOSS MAN vs MANNY FERNANDEZ
Both me went at it hard from the bell. Manny comes out on top after beating Boss Man sense-less and got the win with the Raging Bulldozer

Wow.... fast and furious action in that match..... Mr Watts is getting what he wanted tonight as the boys are going at it and not holding anything back. we have 1 more first round match to bring to you..... lets head back to the ring.
DAN SPIVEY vs "ICEMAN" KING PARSONS
The Ice man made an attempt to take on the much bigger Spivey, but taking the action to ring side turned out to be a big mistake for Parsons. Spivey beat him down and finished him after coming off the 2nd rope with a body press to get the win.
WINNER : Dan Spivey via 2nd Rope Body Press
Spivey use his size advantage in that match and beat King Parsons like a red headed step-Child....... fans we will return with 2nd round matches after this break.

Welcome back........ we move to the 2nd round with one of the next 2 wrestlers looking for work.......
KING PARSONS vs BIG BOSS MAN
Boss man rolls over the iceman and keep his hopes alive. Boss Man wins after a big Boss Man SLAM
WINNER : Boss Man via BOSS MAN SLAM
Well we have our first man eliminated from WCW ........ IceMan King Parsons has lost and is now gone from WCW.
Fans give the ice man a standing ovation as he walks out of the arena........
Fans that's life in the new WCW........ we wish the IceMan good luck in the future......but on with the show......in this match up if Garvin don't win he will follow the iceman out the door and out of WCW....... lets get back to the ring.
MANNY FERNANDEZ vs JIMMY GARVIN
Garvin looked tired from his last match and did not put up much of a fight and Manny rolls over him and gets the win after hitting his FLYING BURRITO.
WINNER : Manny Fernandez via FLYING BURRITO
Manny kept his hope of staying in Texas alive as JIMMY GARVIN head for the doors and out of WCW...... fans up next we have a match that both wrestlers will stay in WCW but the one that looses is 1 step closer to the door.......
CHRIS BENOIT vs DAN SPIVEY
My god.......they beat the crap out of each other in that match up. Spivey made 7 pin attempts before he got the 3 count following a 3rd POWER BOMB.
WINNER: Dan Spivey via POWER BOMB
Spivey get closer to keeping his contract.....and Benoit is 1 step closer in the other direction. Fans we will be back with 3rd round action after this break.

We are back and the next match is in the ring...... these wrestlers are going to get a work out now....... Dan Spivey who just had an incredible and exhausting match with Benoit is back in the ring facing Boss Man. Its win or go home for the Boss Man.......... take it away....
DAN SPIVEY vs BIG BOSS MAN
Spivey makes quick work of the boss man and get the win after a POWERBOMB
WINNER : Dan Spivey via POWER BOMB
Spivey gets another win......... and we say goodbye to another..... as the Big Boss Man will leave WCW......... our next match we will see who has anything left in reserve as both men have had some intense battles tonight........
MANNY FERNANDEZ vs CHRIS BENOIT
Both me gave it everything they had but Benoit got the best of this match up. He get the win and keeps his job for now.
WINNER : Chris Benoit via Roll-up after Cross body block
This has been nothing short of incredible action....... nothing brings out more from a wrestler than knowing that his job is on the line....... and in the next match it will be Fernandez who has his ass on the line as he faces Spivey.
DAN SPIVEY vs MANNY FERNANDEZ
Both me battled until one had nothing left. The action was hot and heavy as much of the match was spent fighting at ring side. In the end Manny rolled into the ring and Spivey could not get back in....... Fernandez wins by a count out.
WINNER : Manny Fernandez via Count Out
Its hard to believe how much these guys have...... they have all taken a beating.....but still they keep coming back for more........ Well Fans we have just one more match up for these men....... it will be Chris Benoit to face Dan Spivey the winner stays here in WCW the other hits the road...... we will give them a short rest period before the final match....... we need a break also but when we return the 1st of 3 big title matches and the final match for a WCW contract... don't go anywhere.

Welcome Back to World Class Wrestling........ up next we have Hercules Hernandez defending his title..... well sort of..... his title has been merged and he will be going after the NEW WCW TV Championship..... and he will face........ well i am not sure...... Bill Watts would not let anyone know who would be going for the titles..... lets head to the ring where Hernandez is waiting for his opponent.
It's RANDY ORTON !!! and he is here in WCW!!! and he will have to face the big Hercules Hernandez in his debut match.......

HERCULES HERNANDEZ vs RANDY ORTON
Hernandez used his size to control Orton in this match up...... and becomes the NEW WCW TV Champion.
WINNER : Hercules Hernandez via Shoulder Block
Congratulations goes out to Hercules on his win tonight as he becomes the first WCW TV Title holder!! now up next someones life in Texas is on the line....lets head back to the ring.........
DAN SPIVEY vs CHRIS BENOIT
I don't think you can top this match ever....... both men beat the hell out of one another, But each time there was a cover there was a kick out. The action was in the ring , out of the ring , back in the ring.......after over 20 minutes of action it looked like Benoit was done after a big POWERBOMB from Spivey, but from out of nowhere Chris Jericho charged the ring and he and Benoit double teamed Spivey. Benoit then locked in his CRIPPLER CROSSFACE and it looked like Spivey was about to tap out when Sid Vicious TCW Champion charged the ring. He went after Benoit and Jericho and chased Benoit around the ring side area....the 2 men fought at ring side as the referee counted Benoit out of the ring and called for the bell...........
WINNER : Dan Spivey via Count Out
What an incredible match...... and what a shame it had to end that way........
Bill Watts walks out and joins Bill Mercer at the announcers table..........
Mercer: Welcome Mr. Watts.........
Watts: Thanks Bill........ we just saw an incredible Match........but i saw 2 hooligans interfere and rune a great match........ well i am throwing out this match. It holds to much importance to end like that........ but what i am going to do is increase the stakes..... next week on World Class Wrestling we will have Chris Benoit vs Dan Spivey in a CAGE!!!
The Crowd erupts and cheers wildly.......
Watts: hold on....... i am not done....... like i said we had 2 hooligans that did not belong in the match playing a part in it. So Next Week its a looser leaves WCW not just for the men in the cage....... but for the 2 that interfered!!
The fans go nuts........
Watts: If Benoit gets pinned not only does he leave WCW but Chris Jericho will also be out of a job........ now if Spivey gets beat....... Sid Vicious will also be forced to leave WCW......... There you have it............ tune in next week

Mercer : Welcome back....... we have 2 big title matches to come...... up first is the TCW/WCW Tag Team Championship. and they are on the way to the ring.

MIDNIGHT EXPRESS vs SUDDEN IMPACT
Two great teams..... in a match that went for over 40 min. The Cornette led Midnight Express look like it would be their night to capture the gold..... as they we able to keep Jericho in the ring for most of the match. Jericho was done and the Midnight's had him covered when Chris Benoit charged the ring and locked Dennis Condery in the CRIPPLER CROSSFACE causing the referee to call for the bell. The win goes to the Midnight Express but the gold stays with Sudden Impact.
WINNERS : Midnight Express via DQ
NOTE: 16 tokens in the match 8 of them for Jericho
Mercer: That was an outstanding tag match, one of the best i have ever seen........ Sudden Impact are very luck to leave with the gold here tonight.
Suddenly Sid Vicious comes over to the Announcers table........
Sid: Bill Mercer something stinks here on World Class......... Bill Watts comes out and makes a match. that is Dan Spivey gets pinned i get kicked out of WCW....... How do you kick out your champion??
Just them Bill Watts appears at the top of the entrance ramp with Mic in hand.
Watts : That's easy Sid..... what makes you think you will still have the title..........
Sid : Oh i will still have the title....... no one here has beat me yet and no one here will tonight.........
WATTS: Oh....... don't be to sure of the because tonight you will be facing one mean SOB..........and he is......... up right after this break.......
You see Sid in the ring kicking the ropes and yelling up the ramp to Bill Watts as we go to break.........

Mercer: Welcome back fans we have just one more match for you tonight but its going to be a duel........ lets find out just who Sid will be facing tonight....
Mercer : OH MY GOD........ STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN...........Mr Watts brought in Steve Austin and the Texas Rattle Snake is looking to grab the gold.
The fans are cheering and Sid is going nuts in the ring..........
WCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
"STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN vs SID VICIOUS
Steve and Sid rip into each other, and the fans went crazy. Both me took liberties out of the ring but Stone Cold went too far and got DQ'ed for it. After the bell Austin just continued he beat down of the champ. Dan Spivey came running out and went to help Sid but out of nowhere Randy Orton hits him with a big clothesline. Austin and Orton continued to put the boots to Vicious and Spivey when JJ Dillon came to the top of the ramp. He got on the house mic and simply said "Enough" and both Austin and Orton stopped their beat down and walked up the ramp and out of sight..........
WINNER : Sid Vicious via DQ
Mercer : Well fans we saw some surprises tonight but no belts changed hands........ tune in to WCW in October as the action will be hotter than ever.. Good Night.
