Bill Mercer : Welcome to TCW Showdown..... This week we have some great action including David VonErich, Rick Rude and a Special Attraction match up....... but first i am now joined by TCW President and CEO Mark Slayer...........

Slayer: I hate to start the show this way, but......... Last week we found out the Cactus Jack had done an interview in Dallas Today. The management of TCW had asked him to not do the interview, but he decided to go against our wishes...... well he will learn to NOT CROSS THE BOSS!!!!

Slayer: What do you call.... telling them that i gave the Boss Man a better push than he deserved? Well i will show you just what i can do..... You will defend your Outlaw Title here today and you will face the Big Boss Man...... hows that for a push!!!

I have it on good terms the TCW is working on a deal to hold a Huge 2 day event in Dallas around the 9-11 date. I have herd from someone inside of Texas Stadium that TCW was working on a deal to hold the event there........ Also i have herd the none other than JJ Dillon is on his way to TCW.... Is he the "Special" Adviser?? i know we have a new "Book" here in TCW and rumor has it that JJ could be the man. In other news Terry Gordy is on his way to TCW but what is he headed here for?? The talk has been that one of his former tag team partners called him and asked him to come to TCW. Will Bam Bam be with the Freebirds?? Will he be with Steve Williams?? time will tell. The last bit of info i have this week is........ Who is leaving TCW I have it from a good source that one of the TCW stars is asking to leave Texas...... Tune in next week and i will reveal his name.

A man who can handle booking decisions, a man that can run this show when i am out on business........ he is a living legend in wrestling....... CM Punk came out on fire and did not back down from the champ..... but Flair took over and started to beat down Punk. As the two wrestled JJ Dillon made his way to ring side......he made eye contact with Flair and it brought a smile to Ric's face. Rick then locked in the FIGURE FOUR on Punk but punk managed to get to the ropes. After Flair hit several more moves on Punk he again applied the Figure Four on Punk and again he managed to get to the ropes..... this time Flair grabbed Punk and rolled him up as the referee went for the count Ric put his feet on the top rope and keep Punks shoulders down for a quick win........ After the match JJ Dillon entered the ring...... Punk backed into the corner and Flair walked over to JJ...... as he reached his had out Dillon Slapped Flair across the face and made a call out to the back......"get em Boys"........
The Midnight Express and Rick Rude Charged the ring and beat down Flair and CM Punk. As the beat down Continued JJ walked to the Podium......

I have been on the phone a few times this week with Commissioner King of SMW and after some long talks, i got him to believe that the management of TCW had nothing to do
with the attack on Ric Flair....... Well Mr King wants to be sure that we stop this before it gets out of hand and i am with him 100%. With that said....... on August 29th at the Stampede of Stars event the Midnight Express will face Ric Flair and Barry Windham in a lights out non sanctioned match up..... anything goes.......
i guess this will teach the Midnight Express to mess with the DWA title..........

Jericho charged the ring breaking the count but Magnum got up and nailed Jericho...this gave Storm the
opening he needed and he took advantage of it hitting Magnum with several high flying moves and getting a cover...1,2...... Iceman Parsons charges the ring. He breaks the count and storm is livid..... Storm chases Parsons around the studio... as the Referee counts.....8,....9.....10....... Storm gets counted out and Magnum Wins the match.........

Cactus-Herc :
A good match with lots of action all over the arena. Cactus was at a huge size disadvantage and it showed as Hernandez took full advantage. After battling out of the ring for over 8 min. Herc nailed Cactus with a Chair over the top of the head to get the win and become the NEW OUTLAW CHAMPION

Lex-Spoiler:
A great match up that went over 25 minutes. Lex got off to a good start but could not pin the Spoiler.... allowing a come back. The Spoiler gave it his best shot but Luger was just 1 step ahead and survived the onslaught. Lex took over and took it to the Spoiler. Lex had the Spoiler in the Rack 2 times but could not hold it. The Spoiler went outside and brought a chair in the ring and hit Lex with it right in front of Referee Bronko Lubich getting himself disqualified.

Gordy-Warlord:
Gordy looked good in this match and controlled his big opponent. Michael Hayes came to ring side during the match but never got involved as Gordy needed no help getting the win after a ORIENTAL SPIKE

Horsemen-Midnight:
This was a no holds barred match as both teams went after each other. Flair took a beating but held on and got Windham in the match. From there Barry controlled Condrey for the rest of the match,as Flair went after his DWA Belt that JJ Dillon was holding. Flair got the belt after pushing JJ Down and then as Eaton went to attack Flair hit him with the belt splitting him wide open. Back in the ring Windham hit his SWEETWATER SUPLEX to get the win. Flair and Windham left the ring area with the DWA World Heavyweight Belt.
Back in the ring a Bloody Eaton rolled in with Dillon's help. Then from out of nowhere 2 HUGE Men came into the ring and beat the bloody hell out of but Condrey and Eaton as JJ Dillon ran to the dressing room. Its Gorilla Monsoon and Haystacks Calhoun from SMW ......it looks like Jim Cornette sent his big guys to send a message....... and they sure as hell did!!!

TCW Tag Title:
Jericho and Storm looked like the champions they are tonight. They made lots of quick tags and would keep Scorpio and Iceman off balance in this match. Jericho finished the match bu locking Scorpio in his WALLS of JERICHO hold to get the win.


TCW Heavyweight Title:Magnum put up a good fight but it was not enough and Sid Vicious keeps his Texas Heavyweight Title.... Sid just over powered Magnum and wore him down. Sid finished him off with a big POWER BOMB to retain the title.

We see Mark Slayer, Bill Mercer, Larry Zbyszko and Sid Vicious sitting at a table in the Empty arena where the ring use to sit.........

Mercer : Man what are we doing here?? i thought that TCW folded?

Slayer: It has..... i ran out of money, That Big 2 day show in Dallas run me out of operating money.... If only the other DWA feds would have sent some team we could have made a go of it........

Zbyszko: I don't understand....... why we are here........ i got a letter from a lawyer to be here.......

Slayer: That's why i am here........

Mercer: Yeah me too........ man.... we were so close to making this work....... we had the fans starting to turn on to us...... TV was getting some traction..... But........

Slayer: I know Bill But i had to go out and try to pull off that big show....... i take the blame...... i just thought with the help of the DWA i had a great chance to get this fed fired up...... but my fellow promoters would not or could not help us out........ (Sighs) well what can ya do.

As Slayer was talking we could here a door slam shut and the 3 men at the table look around the empty arena and we see a figure in a cowboy hat walk to the table...........he starts to speak.......


Figure: Just listen..... Dont ask any questions as there will be no answers........ i was sent here to deliver this message........

Gentlemen, You all gathered here as the former Brain Trust that was Texas Championship Wrestling....... I think you all did a pretty good job.......but not good enough to stick around. I have purchased the rights to whats left of TCW. Mr Slayer you still have some controlling interest in the fed, but i am the new majority owner....... and as that owner i have put us back on the map. I need each of you to get ready to get back to work. We have a TV show on Monday the 28th of September to get ready for. I want you to contact the roster and have them all in Dallas for the show. We are about 2 hours before the Show is scheduled to start..... all the Wrestlers are sitting in a conference room at tables looking toward the front of the room where there is a small table and a podium.....
Mark Slayer,Larry Zbyszko ,Bill Mercer,Bronko Lubich and Rick Hazzard enter the room and take a seat at the front table..... after a few moments the door opens and Cowboy Bill Wattsand James J. Dillon enter the room, JJ takes a seat at the front table and Bill Watts walks to the podium......

Watts: Hello guys......i am Bill Watts...... and i am the new owner of this company....... I know you guys have to have question, and i hope to cover them here....... but if i don't my office door is always open. First i want to start by getting all the negative stuff out of the way. Dusty and Jake....... you guys can go....... You all are heading to Georgia........ Good luck to you both.

Dusty Rhodes and Jake Roberts get up and start to leave the room.... the stop along the way to shake hands and hug some of their fellow wrestlers......

Watts: If anyone here has a problem working for me, or going by my Rules that you all have in front of you , You can just leave now!!

Bill look around the room to see if anyone gets up........ Rick Rude gets up and walks from the room.........

Watts: things will be different around here, all of your old contracts ended with the old leadership. You will all get your new deals as you leave here tonight, and again..... you don't have to stay.......You will be on a new contract........ But i will need the new Contract signed and given back to me before tonight's show...... no contract..... no show. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Will the following men please stand........ Sid Vicious, Chris Jericho, Lance Storm, Cactus Jack......and Hercules. Congrats gentlemen on your Titles.... DWA or Local........ You will hold your Titles...... and i will have new ones made......... tonight all of the old TCW titles will have to be defended or the DWA could strip them per DWA rules that are in place........

That brings me to my next point....... The DWA............ We are by contract obligated to follow the rules they have in place..... With the said....... just remember i am the boss and you work for ME!! not the DWA.

The last thing i have for now is....... our plan...... What i have in place is this........ 1 TV show each week..... and 1 Mega Card each month........ we will cover all of Texas with Dallas as our Home base.
I have all the deals in place for TV and i have the funds to keep us going until the new year...... so we have some time to get this fed rocking the way i know you guys can......... Get with the road agents and the guys in front of you to check on where you will fit into the fed, and if any of you have any changes to your gimmicks.... Guys thats all i have for now....... LET GO OUT THERE TONIGHT AND SHOW DALLAS What a WORLD CLASS Act we are !!!!
