FPV Bout #2:
Zack Ryder vs. David Hart Smith
- These two young stars really tore it up, as they know this was their chance to shine. Smith showed that he is on the path to gold, as he dominated Zack with his power moves. Ryder, who knew he was over-matched in the power aspect, used his speed. A sharp missile dropkick sent Smith to the mat and then he used his Lifting Inverted DDT followed by his Zack Attack to take the win at 14:53. The crowd gave both men a standing ovation following the bout.
FPV Bout #3: Winner Earns a GLW Tag Title Shot
Doom vs. The Dudley Boyz
- This match is worthy of being on the PPV, but tonight it is on the Free-Per-View. The fans were beyond happy to have it here, no matter when the match occurred. A brutal tag team war unfolded, with all 4 men laying it all on the line. Bubba and Devon caught Reed with the 3-D, but Simmons blasted Bubba with a huge shoulder tackle. Simmons ducked Devon's clothesline and used a powerslam to score the win at 16:40 to earn that tag title shots. The fans were white hot leading into the PPV opening.
Bout #1: Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title
Shane Douglas vs. Verne Gagne (c)
- This match was born out of an incident at the last GLW TV Taping. Gagne lost his cool in his last match with Douglas and seemed very agitated to have to wrestle him again. Verne, who technically in a member of the Elite Zero Pro roster, has started to carve a little home for himself and sees Douglas as a threat to that. Douglas worked hard to keep control on the veteran, but Verne kept taking control back. Verne locked on his Sleeper, but Douglas hooked the ropes. Verne refused to release the hold and the ref threatened to DQ him. Douglas drove an elbow to the Verne's gut and used his head for a jawbreaker. Douglas turned up the heat and was able to catch Verne with his Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Verne got a foot under the bottom rope, so Shane needed to nail his Belly-to-Belly a second time. This time Shane was able to hook the far leg and scored the pinfall at 16:05. Shane held the Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship to his chest, as Verne was livid about the results. Chris Candido, Bam Bam Bigelow, and Sunny came to the ring to congratulate Douglas and celebrate. Verne headbutted the ref and locked on his Sleeper. Candido and Bam Bam stepped in and saved the ref. Verne stormed away from the ring, furious about the bout.
Bout #2:
SMW vs. GLWGorilla Monsoon (w/ Haystacks Calhoun) vs. Don Leo Jonanthan (w/ Yokozuna)
- This match features two huge men and even two bigger seconds. Monsoon and Don Leo started blasting each other with everything they had as soon as the bell rang. Monsoon knocked down Don Leo and hit the ropes, when Yokozuna grabbed his leg. Monsoon took a swipe at Yokozuna, but could not get him. Haystacks used the opportunity to grab Don Leo and pound on him. Don Leo battled back and started battling with Haystacks on the floor. The ref was going nuts with Leo and Haystacks. Monsoon was dragged down by Yokozuna and we had an all out war. The fans were hot, as these four behemoths started pounding each other. It is very rare that there are 4 men of this sheer size battling it out. Eventually cooler heads prevailed and the ringside was cleared of these huge monsters.
Bout #3: DWA Ladies Title Match
Madusa Miceli vs. Traci Brooks(c)
- Madusa started out fast, nailing a running dropkick to start the bout, but Traci was able to avoid the pin. Madusa looked very arrogant as she used a big clothesline and then a body slam. As she went for the second body slam, Traci was able to turn the tables on her and just went berserk. Traci dominated the match the entire rest of the way through and scored the win with her Pie In The Sky following a running slingshot out of the corner at 9:02. Traci hoisted her gold high, as the fans stood and applauded the hard work that these ladies put forth her tonight.
Bout #4: DWA IC Tag Title Match
Sudden Impact vs. The Road Warriors(c)
- The Road Warriors hit the ring going a 100 mph! Storm and Jericho never knew what to do, as Animal and Hawk never let them get their footing. Storm never actually tagged in, as Hawk scored the pin on Jericho at 4:37 after their Doomsday Device. This match was not much, as The Road Warriors were never on defense. They looked amazing, as Sudden Impact have been impressive leading into the bout.
Bout #5: DWA IC Title Match
The Mongolian Stomper vs. Cactus Jack(c)
- This match was a brutal battle from the start, as Stomper scored a near fall within the first 2 minutes. Cactus turned it around with a huge chair shot and spit the Stomper's head open. Cactus nailed a Texas Piledriver and then finished the match with his Double-Arm DDT at 6:50.
Bout #6: Invitational Battle Royal
Steve Blackman vs. Chris Adams vs. Brock Lesnar vs. Bryan Danielson vs. Brad Rheingans vs. Bruno Sammartino
- This match is a purist dream, any of these men can be called the best pure wrestler in the DWA. As the bell rang, Everyone, except Lesnar, turned on Sammartino and gang attacked him. The crowd started to boo, as the 4 men started beating down Bruno. Bruno battled back and started to fight off the 4 on 1. As Bruno was working over Rheingans, Lesnar charged the legend. Bruno was still fighting off the others when Lesnar clotheslined Bruno out over the top rope. The fans started booing as Bruno was eliminated because the other competitors knew that they needed to get Bruno out of the ring. Lesnar turned around into another 4 on 1 beat-down. Lesnar started to battle back, until Chris Adams tried to dump Danielson out of the ring. This broke the 4 man group apart, as it turned into a true Battle Royal. Blackman was holding Danielson as Adams went to Superkick him, but Danielson ducked. Blackman did not go over the ropes, but went down hard to the mat. Danielson fired a hard forearm into Adams and blasted him into the corner. Brad was trying to get Lesnar up, but his size was too much. Lesnar thumbed him in the eye and then hooked him up into an F5. After the F5, Brad was tossed out by Lesnar. Lesnar hoisted up Blackman and threw him over the top rope, but his foot hooked the ropes and he was hanging on the apron. Lesnar shoved Danielson aside and started choking Adams. Danielson started working over Brock, but Lesnar kicked him in the groin. Adams used this opportunity to try and Super Kick on Brock, but Lesnar avoided it and delivered an F5 on him. Adams was tossed out. Danielson and Brock started battling in the corner, as Blackman slid back under the ropes. Danielson was almost over the top ropes, but he had hooked Brock with his legs. Blackman hit the ropes and delivered a huge running knee, which drove both Lesnar and Danielson over the top ropes, but they hit the apron. Blackman thrust kicked Danielson off the apron and then hit Brock with a throat thrust to stun him. A huge karate kick knocked Lesnar of the apron at the the 23:45 mark to take the win.
Bout #7: DWA World Tag Team Titles:
The Outlanders vs. The Outsiders(c)
- Morgan scored the pinfall on Nash at 37:12 after Skinner and Morgan used the Militia Face Drop. The Outlanders win the DWA World Title.
Main EventBout #8: DWA World Title Match
Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs. Ric Flair(c)
- A huge turn of events here at Hostile Territory has lead the DWA Board of Directors in a shamble of a mess. There was controversy in the World Title Match as a 2 out of three falls match happened but there was no order for that. Also there is no time limit for a DWA world Title Match. However both men were under the instinct that it was that so the DWA Board of Directors has ruled that this match will restart now, first fall wins!
-After a restart both men agreed it was the right thing to do and they locked up. It was a grueling match back and forth. Both men were visibly tired from their epic struggle earlier in the other matches and both men want to put the other away. Both men tried everything they could muster to pull a victory out in this one. In the End Ric Flair locked on his Figure Four in the middle of the ring and Tenzan had no choice but to tap out. Ric Flair successfully defended his DWA World Championship!!!!
