Butcher Vachon was disqualified for smashing a chair across Youngblood's back outside the ring. The Dream Machine beat Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant with a
loaded mask headbutt in 11:03. The Killer Bees took the visiting Interns in wild match that ended in another disqualification after Intern Number One injured B Brian Brian Blair with an elbow drop off the top rope. Blair needed medical assistance to leave the ring area. Jimmy Snuka defeated the very unpopular Killer Kowalski with a superfly leap after being brutalized with several bombs away knee drops and hung in the corner and stomped on. After interfering several times during the match the Armstrongs had enough and managed to smash Jim Cornette over the head with his own tennis racket. The Midnight Express went on to win the match with a vegomatic on Bullet Bob. Harley Race beat Bobo Brazil with a piledriver in 15:42 The fourth of the match and Race's sixth pin attempt

The visiting Hillbillies were fired up for their first appearence in the Mid Atlantic area. The Hillbillies started out strong with an Uncle Elmer big leg drop and Hillbilly splash on Bobby Eaton. The Midnight Express gained control of the match shortly after and won with a elbow slingshot to Hillbilly Jim

This was a match for the highlight reels as Graham and Snuka each had 7 pin attempts. The fans were kept on the edge of thier seats until the 16:45 mark when Snuka tapped out to a Superstar Bearhug

The Iron Sheik & Nickolai Volkoff ded The Fantastics ***
Tommy Rogers and Bobby Fulton put a good fight trying to strip the Shiek & Volkoff of their tag team title belts but were denied the titles when the Iron Shiek pinned Rogers for the 3 count following a sidewinder suplex

The Destroyer dominated the majority of the match but was unable to put away Nikita. The Destroyer took down Koloff four times without getting the 3 count and each time Nikita recovered quickly and came back force full with running elbows and Russian hammers, The Destroyer finally found Nikita's Achilles heel forcing him to tap out to a single leg Boston crab in 14:00

Hillbilly Jim( with Cousin Luke and Uncle Elmer) def Roddy Piper ** Piper had Jim down several times during the match but instead of pinning the Hillbilly decided to inflict more damage and humiliate him as much as possible. This backfired on Piper when Jim knocked Piper senseless by landing a big boot and got a three count for the win

Midnight Express def The Armstrongs**1/2
Brad got two quick pin attempts on Dennis Condrey via a Russian Leg Sweep and kneelift but Eaton managed to break up the pin both times. The Midnight Express came back with a pin attempt of their own via a elbow slingshot broken up by Bullet Bob at the 2 count. Condrey tagged in Eaton and the two quickly finished off Brad with a Vegomatic.

The Dream Machine struggled against Koko being knocked flat on his back with a top rope dropkick and a flying heabutt. Dream Machine had to resort to using a loaded mask to get the pinfall in 10:00. Piper took out The Boogie Woogie Man in 8:34 with a sleeperhold. Jimmy Superfly Snuka devastated King Kong Bundy with a perfectly executed superfly leap in 13:53. The Destroyer forced Bobo Brazil to tap out to a figure four leglock in 12:07. In the main event LWA title contender Superstar Billy Graham went toe to toe with Harley Race for over 16 minutes being pinned at the 16:58 mark following a piledriver.
